2. Antimicrobial and anti-odor fiber

Quantitative antibacterial tests using the AATCC-100 protocol has been conducted for the silver woven cloth, the percent reduction rate of bacteria of four bacterial populations (E.coli ATCC 25922, S. Aureus ATCC 6538, C. Albicans ATCC 10231, P. Aeruginosa ATCC 9027) over a 24 hour incubation period were measured, and the bacterial reduction rate for each kind of bacteria was more than 99.9%.

In practice, only 10% silver fiber blended with other fibers, such as cotton, polyester, wool etc. can effectively inhibit the growth of bacteria. The best content of silver fiber in the blended fabrics is also dependent on the structrure, and the ambient using environment of the fabric; the more hot and humid, the more active of the silver fiber’s antimicrobial efficacy, which is more suitable for socks, underwears, and sportwears etc.

The silver fiber can be blended with other fibers to make woven, nonwoven and knitted fabrics, dependent on your actual applications.

3. Electromagnetic shielding fabric

Electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of the silvered fabrics with different specifications has been measured according to IEEE STD 299 standard and Chinese SJ20524 (MIL STD 285). In the frequency range of 20MHz-10GHz the silvered fabrics have a shielding effectiveness of above 45dB with the highest value of 100dB.

According to the customer’s requirement, different kinds of fabrics with different shielding effectiveness can be supplied.
